On the production page, you can produce new products using existing products. There are 3 sections on the page; first and last sections are to view stock levels and productions. On the middle of the page, the tables and buttons are for making a production.
To start a new production, click on the “Start production” button. It will create a new production in the “Production” table. Don’t create a second production before executing the new one.

Select the item. If it doesn’t exist in the system, you can create a new one.

Write a batch number for the products that will be produced in this batch. You should use unique batch numbers if you are producing food.
Set the production date. (It is set to date of clicking the button by default)
Write the amount of products in the batch.
Select the unit. If the unit doesn’t exist in the units list, you can create a new one.
Write the operation cost. Operation cost is the resource spent for each operation excluding the material cost. It will be used to calculate the unit cost of products produced. By default, the currency is set to “Euro”, but you can change it if you like. Please follow this guide to change the currency.

Now it is time to add materials that will be used. Click the “Add material” button to add a material that will be used in a batch. It will add a new row to the table below.

Set the production date. (It is set to date of clicking the button by default)
Select the “Product batch”. It must be the product that has been created above. You wrote the batch number on the 3rd step.
Select the “Material batch”. Select one material in each row.
Write the total amount of material that’s been used in the production.
Other fields will be filled automatically.
Repeat steps 9-12 for each material that’s been used in the production. It should look like this after finishing all materials.

Click the “Execute production” button if you added all required information above. This will clear the tables, add the new product to the stock and deduct materials from material stock.
You can see that the production is added to the “Most recent productions” table at the bottom. Click the “Calculate cost” button at the production row. This will calculate the total cost of the production and unit cost of each product.
